All Med Trips participants must have full comprehensive travel insurance which will adequately cover the duration of the program. For your convenience, Med Trips provides a comprehensive insurance policy for all our participants.
Med Trips is partnered with Envisage Global Insurance to help provide our Program participants with comprehensive travel insurance. The policy is underwritten by Sirius and administered by IMG. Envisage Global Insurance is recognized as one of the leading providers of international insurance plans to organizations from all around the world that send and receive participants on cultural exchange and youth travel activities.
All the participants would have access, to 'The Student Zone’ portal which provides you with a one-stop resource for all your insurance needs and you should visit this to familiarize yourself with your insurance plan. It includes information such as:
- How to seek medical care
- Doctor/hospital search tool
- Claims documents
- Online claims tracking
- Access your policy documents
