Medical Internship Program Schedule

Medical Students joining the medical internship program in Delhi, India are required to follow a basic routine on a daily basis. Intern Roles & Responsibilities

Intern Roles & Responsibilities

The hospital placements cannot ethically allow individuals without the proper experience, education, and certifications to actively participate in medical procedures they are not able to conduct. Most interns only observe or help out with very minor tasks. The tasks assigned to the interns will be strictly on the basis of the level of their education and experience.

This assignment during your medical internship in Delhi is primarily observation based. You’ll follow your doctor or nurse on daily rounds while they consult with patients, administer treatment, and perform operations.

However, even those interns who have little (if any) background in healthcare still enjoy a much higher level of access to the goings-on in an international hospital than they would back in the West. With this in mind, the medical internship in Delhi, India offers an outstanding opportunity for students interested in exploring a career in healthcare. The time they spend on assignment will look incredible on their resume or CV.

Physiotherapy Internship in Sri Lanka

Physiotherapy
18 years+

The Physiotherapy Internship in Sri Lanka is designed for students and recent graduates of physiotherapy programs who are seeking practical clinical exposure in an international healthcare setting. Interns are placed at the National Hospital Galle, one of the largest public hospitals in Sri Lanka, where they observe and support physiotherapy and rehabilitation services across multiple units.

Sri Lanka is unique in South Asia for offering free public healthcare to all citizens, resulting in a high patient volume and broad case exposure. Interns work under the supervision of senior physiotherapists, alongside consultant doctors, medical officers, and allied healthcare professionals. While the experience is largely observation-based, interns may gain limited hands-on exposure depending on their academic background, confidence, and the working culture of the assigned unit.

In addition to hospital-based learning, interns have opportunities to engage in community-based activities, disability care, elderly care, and introductory sessions in Ayurvedic medicine, providing a holistic understanding of healthcare delivery in Sri Lanka. This program is ideal for interns who are open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn within a culturally diverse medical environment.
